History

NACO was born in 2004 from an idea of ​​Alessandro Podestà and Armando Ceccato. The company aims to offer the design, supply and installation of mechanical and electronic systems: from thrust propellers to monitoring and automation systems.

Through the years, the naval design ranges from the design to movement systems (cranes, elevators, winches …), to more sophisticated systems, like navigation and stationary stabilizers, steering systems and propulsion propellers. Over the years, the NACO control system has reached the highest state of the art and, in parallel, the design of increasingly complex and detailed components has opened the doors to other sectors. In 2007, the design department approached to the industrial and energy sectors. Handling systems, precision mechanical design, interconnection piping, FEM analysis, structural calculations, project management and complex project supervision are the strengths of NACO. In 2010 a project of a single-stage microturbine with power up to 1000 kW was developed.

Today all these realities coexist, interlacing themselves to share innovations and experiences aimed at optimizing more and more the service offered by NACO. Currently the R & D department is facing several projects, including a 200 kW multistage turbine, a circular boiler bed with automatic feeding and discharging system, a high efficiency stabilizing fin for ships.

The 2018 of NACO will be oriented to the supply of complete plants (turn-key service), continuing the initial idea of ​​total assistance and complete customer satisfaction. NACO, together with the network of professionals that has been created in more than 15 years of business, is able to satisfy all the needs for development and supply for complete plants, from the naval sector to the production of energy, to precision mechanics.
